MARC G. WILLIAMS-YOUNG
Attorney, CEO, and Managing Shareholder
A graduate of Miami University, Bowling Green State University and The University of Toledo College of Law, Marc G. Williams-Young has been a proud advocate of our community for nearly 40 years. A product of years of volunteer work with the ACLU of Ohio (for whom he also served as President for four years), Mr. Williams-Young takes a personal approach to law that includes educating his clients in their legal rights and the intricacies of their case. He is driven to promote social equality and human agency in the communities we serve and the world we live in. As dedicated to his family as he is his clients, Mr. Williams-Young began volunteering as a fastpitch softball coach when his daughter was 12. Now, 20 years later, he’s coached at almost every level of the sport. In his own words, “I tell the girls that I do not just teach softball, I teach life.”

STEVEN M. SPITLER
Attorney, Retired
While attending Bowling Green State University as an undergraduate, Steven M. Spitler worked full-time, on an assembly line at a manufacturing company. It was through this personal experience that he was inspired to begin his own practice and specialize in Ohio Workers’ Compensation law. Throughout the past 35 years, Mr. Spitler has remained dedicated to helping injured workers receive the highest quality of legal service. As a certified specialist in Workers’ Compensation, Mr. Spitler gives his clients the best opportunity to prevail in their claim and thus receive the medical benefits and compensation to which they are entitled. Born and raised in Sandusky, Mr. Spitler is a graduate of The University of Toledo College of Law and has been a member of the Toledo community for nearly four decades—a community he is proud to serve.

ALEXANDER J. MARZEC
Attorney
Guided by his passion to further every client’s best interest, Alexander Marzec believes that getting a successful resolution is the top priority. A native of Rossford and graduate of The University of Toledo College of Law, his goal is to further the best interest of clients. When he’s not in the courtroom, Mr. Marzec enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and son Emmett.

CHRISSY S. WILLIAMS
Office Administrator
For nearly 32 years, Chrissy Williams has been helping the Spitler & Williams-Young offices run seamlessly. She began as the receptionist and immediately displayed a willingness to learn and an insatiable appetite for hard work. From receptionist to bookkeeper to office administrator, Mrs. Williams earned every title as she rose up the ranks. She takes pride in having worked with so many exceptional clients and vendors along the way. When she’s not busy making sure the firm’s books are in order, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 36 years and six grandchildren as well as reading a tantalizing mystery or inspirational novel.

CORETTA H. BRANFORD
Legal Secretary
Having spent more than 25 years at Spitler & Williams-Young, Coretta Branford embodies everything the company stands for: hard work, steadfast dedication and the belief that every client is an individual who deserves the highest quality life. Outside of the office, she enjoys singing, traveling, shopping and relaxing. Mrs. Branford is a proud wife, mother and grandmother and a Toledo native.

HEATHER D. HORNSBY
Legal Assistant
In order to affect positive change in her community, Heather Hornsby is gaining valuable experience at Spitler & Williams-Young while on the road to earning her Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo College of Law. Mrs. Hornsby has made it her mission to go above and beyond for every client by continuously monitoring their needs, guiding them through their most difficult challenges and, ultimately, helping them get the most out of life. Mrs. Hornsby is a mother of five children, a Wolverine fan navigating Buckeye country and is always looking for a reason to escape to Frankenmuth, MI.

KAYLEIGH SALISBURY
Legal Assistant
Kayleigh comes to us with a very diverse background of experience, from previous legal work to training crew teams to providing direction to visitors at the museum. This experience has left her with a deep appreciation for everyone’s unique situation and with an embedded belief in providing an excellent client experience to all.
In Kayleigh’s free time, when she’s not looking to travel to a new city, you might find her wandering a local nature spot. She points out that the Metroparks are a crown jewel in the Toledo area. Don’t be surprised if you find her humming along to music either. She might like listening to rock for fun, but she’s been playing trumpet since she was ten. She even played in the University of Toledo volleyball and basketball bands.
